Keep Your Head Up

For this project I wanted to use the phrase "Keep Your Head Up". On the surface, it seems like a phrase that a lot of people have heard of on numerous occasions, in particular it was the phrase used on one of 2Pac songs. However, in my eyes, this was a phrase used by my mother, as a way of her saying, no matter how much stuff puts you through, keep your head up high and stand proud. My mother was a strong person who has gone through trauma, abuse, and yet, she was always there for anybody who needed. Though she was not a perfect person, her words and thoughts still ring. My approach to the project is still very early in the process but my understanding of what it means is to incorporate items that juxtaposed with the visuals. This was made in a sense of abstraction and emotion as the main source of telling clarity and honesty through the visuals on display. Well it may look perfect, it was the intention to make it as organic in and rough as possible without losing any of the visuals charm.

The project will be released on September 22 @9AM.
